Myanmar's Yangon Airways has taken delivery of former Aer Arann ATR72-500 EI-REP.  This aircraft was disposed of as part of the 'New Beginning' strategy as the carrier takes delivery of eight new ATR72-600s in fleet renewal programme.

The aircraft performed a short air test from Dublin Airport on Monday 8th July as REA100M prior to ferry flight to its new owner.

EI-REP ATR72-212A c/n 797 hex code 4CA6D5 departed Dublin Airport at 0345 hours local as REA797 on Monday 8th July on delivery. We understand the aircraft routed via Aktion (Greece)-Alexandria (Egypt)-Al Ain (UAE)-Nagpur (India) to Yangon International Airport its new home arriving 0830 local on Saturday 13th July.

Yangon Airways operates two ATR72-212A's.
