Germanwings re-introduces Dublin-Cologne/Bonn route ©

 Germanwings based in Cologne the low-cost subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group is to re-introduce the Dublin to Cologne route for Summer 2013 re-commencing on 31st March to 27th October operating four times weekly using Airbus A319 equipment.

Germanwings operates a fleet of 32 Airbus A319 aircraft with a further six on order, a further 30 Airbus A320s are to be transferred from the parent company Lufthansa as the carrier is to take-over point to point flights operating from cities other than Frankfurt and Munich.

Aer Lingus adds fourth Santiago frequency ©


                                                     
Aer Lingus is to strengthen the seasonal Dublin to Santiago route from 31st March 2013 operating three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, increasing to four times weekly from from 7th July to 20th October with a Sunday service until 20th October given strong demand on the route.

The route is very popular with Christian pilgrims and many other travelers set out each year to make their way to Santiago de Compostela for the Camino Way know as The Way of St. James or St. James' Way is the pilgrimage route to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia in northwestern Spain, where tradition has it that the remains of the apostle Saint James are buried.
