Dublin Airport handles almost 1.2 million passengers in January ©

                                                      Dublin Airport announced it handled almost 1.2 million in January up 2% on prior year with almost all market segments reporting a positive trend, firstly Passenger volumes to and from continental Europe grew by 3% with just over 557,000 passengers, domestic traffic increased by 9% to 3,900 passengers. The attractiveness of Dublin Airport as a connecting hub continues with Transatlantic traffic up 12% to 90,000 passengers and other international traffic, principally to the Middle East increased by 50% with more than 47,000 passengers. Ryanair increases flights from Shannon Airport to Malaga & Palma ©

                                                      Ryanair has announced its increasing flights from Shannon Airport to Malaga and Palma during the summer peak months, a further indication of the return to growth at the airport. The Ryanair additions will see the airline increase its Palma service from two to three flights weekly from May to October, when it will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Ryanair will also increase flights to Malaga during the month of July to three times weekly, with the extra flight on Thursdays operated by a Malaga based aircraft . The airline will continue to operate twice weekly to Malaga during the peak travel season with services on Tuesdays and Sundays.
