Stobart Air leases ATR72 from Danu Oro Transportas (DOT)

LY-MCA ATR72-201
Stobart Air has leased LY-MCA ATR72-201 c/n 0212 Danu Oro Transportas (DOT) to provide additional capacity pending delivery of it's last ATR72-600 EI-FAZ.

LY-MCA arrived Dublin Airport at 1953 local as DNU501P on 3rd June and entered revenue service next day to Newcastle as EIN3356/7 (ATC Callsign REA56NC/57NC).

Last summer the airline contracted Danish Air Transport to provide bridging capacity as it's ATR72-600 delivery programme commenced.

Jet Assist-Business Jet Centre Opens at Belfast International Airport

Jet Assist, the new FBO based at Belfast International Airport (EGAA) opened for business in early June. Branded as Jet Assist–Business Jet Centre the spacious facility specifically designed for the needs of business, private and state travellers is located next to the GA ramp, has its own security screening, seating for up to twenty five passengers, crew room, his & her toilets, along with all the standard FBO amenities and represents one of the finest business aviation facilities on the island of Ireland.

Jet Assist-Business Jet Centre has branded fuel supply through the Ascent Global Fuel Brand as a member of the World Fuel Services Network of FBOs and offers very competitive Jet A-1 fuel prices for both destination and fuel stop traffic.

Belfast International, strategically located on the North Atlantic Eastern Seaboard, is a 24H, no night time curfew airport with multiple runways and is rarely closed even when Mother Nature is at her very worst.

Early in the planning stage Jet Assist engaged Global FBO Consult, a Fixed Base Operator & BizAv advisory service, to guide them through the start up, provide business intelligence, media relations and personnel selection & training.

Jet Assist’s Managing Director Ian Morrow thanked Invest Northern Ireland (Invest NI), Northern Ireland's regional economic development agency who recognized that a Jet Centre is an integral part of attracting inward investment and promoting international trade.
