                                                  EI-FNJ Airbus A320-216 Aer Lingus AerCap president sees continued strong demand on operating leases Ireland-based lessor AerCap has experienced strong demand as low fuel prices have boosted airlines into record-making profits, creating a need for additional aircraft, according to AerCap president and CCO Philip Scruggs. Scruggs told ATW. Avolon to acquire 45 aircraft from GECAS Avolon announced that it will acquire a portfolio of 45 aircraft from GECAS. The 45 aircraft, which are scheduled to deliver to Avolon in the second half of 2016, are on lease to 29 airlines in 15 countries. AWAS expands Dreamliner fleet with first 787 delivery to long-time customer Ethiopian Airlines AWAS announced that it has delivered one new 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft to the flag carrier of Ethiopia, Ethiopian Airlines. As part of a fleet upgrade solution for its long-time customer, AWAS has agreed to purchase three new 787-8 passenger aircraft

Emirates Airlines 121st Boeing 777 visits Dublin Airport

                                                  A6-EPN Boeing 777-300 Emirates  Emirates Airlines achieved a milestone in Dublin recently with the visit of 121st Boeing 777 on Saturday 16 operated by A6-EPN Boeing 777-31H(ER) on morning UAE161/2 service from and to Dubai on a first visit to Dublin. 20 years ago Emirates took delivery of it's first Boeing 777. The todat the carrier is the world’s largest Boeing operator with 157 Boeing 777s in it's fleet and a further 184 Boeing 777s pending delivery. Emirates introduced the Boeing 777 on Dubin route on 1st May 2012 and introduced a second daily flight from 1 September 2014 in a three-class configuration - eight seats in First Class, 42 in Business Class and 310 in Economy Class.
