Cityjet Takes Delivery of 21st New Bombardier CRJ900

                                                Image Courtesy: Bombardier Aerospace  Cityjet has taken of its 21st New Bombardier CRJ900 on 8 February as part of purchase agreement announced on 1 February 2017, with one further remaining to be delivery the aircraft will operate under wet lease in the SAS network.  The order is valued at approximately $467 million. The aircraft EI-FPW MSN 15443 was delivered MontrĂ©al Mirabel-Keflavik-Stockholm Arlanda on 8 February entering service on 11 February as SAS1141 Stockhokm Arlanda to Kallinge. The Cityjet CRJ900 order is significant for Norhern Ireland's economy as Bomardier Belfast design and manufacture the complete centre fuselage, nacelles and wing components for the CRJ900 aircraft. Cello Aviation establishing new Dublin Base

                                                  Image Credit: Cello Aviation  Birmingham based Cello Aviation, a VIP Charter carrier is establishing a new Dublin Base for scheduled charter operations using a Boeing 737-300. The carrier is currently hiring Boeing 737 Captains and First Officers and Cabin Crew for the operation. Cello has carried most of the Premier League football teams, international football and rugby teams, top named celebrities as well as Royalty including the Queen who travelled on Cello to Ireland when she made her state visit in May 2011 using G-RAJJ Bae 146-200 E2108. In Euro 2012 campaign Cello was contracted to take the Irish Football team to a pre-tournament training camp in Italy and games in Poland and the Ukraine using an Bae146. Ryanair Adds 52 Boeing 737-800s to fleet in 2017 Calendar Year

                                                Ryanair Boeing 737-800 Ryanair added 52 Boeing 737-800s to it's growing fleet in 2017 Calendar year for a total of  413 units as of 31 December 2017. Interesting EI-FZY was delivered through Keflavik to Dublin on 2 September instead of direct from Boeing and the carrier commenced a new registration series with the delivery of EI-GDA on 2 October. Ryanair network growth resumes with 21 new routes announced

                                                  Ryanair Boeing 737-800 Ryanair announced a total of 21 new routes in January resuming network growth after a pause period since last major announcement in September of Frankfurt Main expanison and opening of it's new Memmingen base on 1st September.  The latest expanision is significant in UK (Manchester) with 10 new routes including a new domestic route to Belfast International and key lesuire destinations with increased capacity on a number of existing routes. The carrier announced 10 new routes into France from it's existing European Bases with a clear sign of intent the carrier is planning significant expansion. According to The Local France website the carrier plans to open four new bases in France by 2019 in a bid to double its traffic in the country over the next "three or four years" basing up to 30 aircraft with Nantes,  Toulouse, Lyon, Marseilles  and Paris Beauvais possible contenders.
