Ryanair's Laudamotion scales up growth plans

In interview with German aviation website aero Telegraph Laudamotion Managing Director Andreas Gruber said the carrier planned to operate 27 aircraft in Summer 2019 comprising of 21 Airbus A320 and 6 Boeing 737-800 leased from parent company Ryanair.

In summer 2020 the airline will be operationally independent of Ryanair fleet wise a fleet of 30 Airbus A320 aircraft and in 2021 40 Airbus A320 aircraft in the long-term goal of the carrier is to operate 100 aircraft.

Managing Director Andreas Gruber said the carrier could expand outside core markets of Austria and Germany adding "Zurich is an incredibly interesting market".

According to Austrian Aviation Net Laudamotion is due return its four leased Airbus A321-200 aircraft to Lufthansa for Eurowings operation.

Laudamotion operates a daily Dublin to Vienna service operated by Airbus A320/321 aircraft and seasonal weekly service to Innsbruck operated by Airbus A320 aircraft.

Fifth Boeing 737 MAX 8 for Ethiopian Airlines Delivered over Dublin Airport

ET-AVK Boeing 737 MAX 8 MSN 62449 'Ethiopian 9201' was delivered Boeing Field to Dublin on 31 December arriving at 0631 local. The aircraft departed Dublin on New Year's Day at 1115 to Addis Ababa.

The first aircraft ET-AVM was delivered through Dublin on 1st July , the second aircraft  ET-AVL MSN 62447 was delivered on 30th August, the third ET-AVI Boeing 737-8 MAX MSN 62448 on 24th September. The fourth aircraft Boeing 737 MAX 8 ET-AVJ MSN 62450 was delivered on 15 November. 

Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO Mr. Tewolde GebreMariam said "We are glad to include the Boeing 737 MAX 8, the latest in Boeing's single-aisle series, in our young and modern fleet of over 100 aircraft with an average age of less than five years.
