HiSky defers indefinitely launch of new Chisinau-Dublin route

                                                           Moldavian Start-Up carrier HiSky founded by private investors has deferred indefinitely the launch of its new twice weekly from Chisinau to Dublin route. This is a competitive market with two carriers currently operating on the route Air Moldva and FlyOne. The service was originally due to start 11 April and was further deferred to 31 October. HiSky's website currently shows no booking available through to the 31 March 2021. The YR-SKY Airbus A320-232 MSN 4493 HiSky Moldova Registered in Ostrava on 8th September prior delivery, the aircraft was formerly registered as OE-IEV.  2-SSFG Airbus A319-131 MSN 2326 Air Lease Corporation was ferried Shannon to Ljubljana  on 15th September for for HiySky Moldova , the aircraft was formerly registered as ZS-SFG. United Airlines Defers launch of new San Francisco - Dublin to Summer 2021

                                                          United Airlines has deferred the launch of its new SFO to Dublin to 27 March 2021 the start of official IATA Summer 2021 season. The route was formally announced on 18th December 2019. The service will initially operate four times weekly increasing to a daily service operated by Boeing 787-8 aircraft.  The route is critical to Ireland's post pandemic recovery linking two of the world's leading centres of technology and innovation Dublin and Silicon Valley. Dublin Airport Managing Director Vincent Harrison said "San Francisco is the global tech centre of the world and many of the companies based there have offices in Ireland. This new route will further grow tourism and trade between Ireland and the US and provide greater choice and flexibility for both business and leisure passengers. EI-LRD Airbus A321-253NX Aer Lingus Returns to Service

                                                                            EI-LRD Airbus A321-253NX MSN 9187 Aer Lingus  which has been in storage at Dublin since 20th April other than for a test flight on 17th September, returned to service on 20th October operatin EIN154/5 to and from London Heathrow. The aircraft operated first North American service since 20th April as EIN137/6 to and from Boston on 21st October. Aer Lingus operates a fleet of 4 Airbus A321N-251NX (EI-LRA, EI-LRB, EI-LRC, EI-LRD) and is due to take delivery of a further four aircraft on lease from Air Lease Corporation for Summer 2021. SAS Airlines Ireland EI-SIC Re-Registered as SE-DYM

                                                                  SAS Airlines Ireland Ltd Airbus A320-251N EI-SIC MSN 7979 has been re-registered to parent company as SE-DYM at Copenhagen on 14 October. The carrier operates a total of six Airbus A320-251N registered as EI-SID, EI-SIE, EI-SIF, EI-SIG, EI-SIH and EI-SII.  The airline announced the successful implementation of OpenAirlines' SkyBreathe® eco-flying solution to pursue their commitment to sustainable development. From system data points versus actual flown the airline benefits from an accurate and deep understanding of fuel usage through all phases of flight to implement the most efficient procedures without compromising safety.
