ASL Airlines (Ireland) adds EI-DAD Boeing 737-800(BCF) to fleet


ASL Airlines (Ireland) has taken delivery of EI-DAD msn 33544 Boeing 737-8AS(BCF) for operation of behalf of Amazon Prime Air. The aircraft positioned Shannon to Cologne on 26th October 2020.

During the BCF modification the aircraft was re-registered as N547CC and was ferried Jinan-Shanghai-Osaka-Petropavlovsk Kamchatsky-Anchorage-Jacksonville-Bangor-Keflavik-Shannon on 23-24th September for pre in service work. 

The two ASL Airlines (Ireland) Boeing 737-800(BCF)'s are supporting Amazon Air first-ever regional air hub in Europe at the Leipzig/Halle Airport in Schkeuditz, Germany at the 20,000 square meter cargo facility creating 200 new jobs.

Leipzig/Halle is already number two in the German airfreight business and number five in Europe. We will invest heavily to expand our position. This will benefit the region, but also the whole of Germany as a business location".
