9H-LOA Airbus A320 Lauda Europe operates Palma sector to Shannon on behalf of Ryanair

                                                                   The first visit of a Lauda Europe Airbus A320 to Shannon Airport took place on Friday 1st October as 9H-LOA Airbus A320-232 MSN 3147 operated RYR1669/1668 (ATC Callsign RYR8LZ/61WA) to and from Palma arriving at 1015 local and departing 1150 local operating on behalf of Ryanair DAC. In an interview with Aviation Direct Ryanair DAC CEO Eddie Wilson stated Lauda Europe will grow strongly in the next few years. He added "The capacity of Lauda Europe is needed within the Ryanair Group, because depending on the route profile, the A320 aircraft prove to be more economical than the Boeing 737-800". The Ryanair Group plans to establish a new Lauda Europe base in London Stansted in Winter 2021. EI-SIB Airbus A320neo SAS Ireland restored to Irish Registry

                                                                   SE-DYD Airbus A320-251N msn 7951 has been re-transferred from the parent company to its Irish subsidiary as EI-SIB on 25th September reported German aviation website Skyliner Aviation. The aircraft operated a service from Stockholm Arlanda to Malaga the same day as SAS1583/6004. SAS Ireland will establish a base at Copenhagen Airport at the beginning of 2022 this will be a lower cost carrier focused on competitive leisure routes using Airbus A320neo aircraft. Danish aviation website Check.in dk reports SAS Group is considering opening new Connect bases in Stockholm and Oslo. The carrier operates a total of eight Airbus A320-251N registered as EI-SIB, EI-SIC, EI-SID, EI-SIE, EI-SIF, EI-SIG, EI-SIH and EI-SII. Vueling Airlines connects Ireland to Paris Orly in Winter 2021

                                                                          IAG Group carrier Vueling Airlines announced the launch of three new routes from its Paris Orly base to Belfast City, Cork Airport and Dublin Airport commencing 2nd November using Airbus A320 aircraft.  The airline will operate Paris Orly to Belfast International twice weekly on Tuesdays and Sundays. The airline will operate Paris Orly to Cork Airport twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays from 26th November. The airline will operate Paris Orly to Dublin airport daily. The airline was awarded slots at Paris-Orly in context of Air France's recapitalisation releasing 18 daily slot pairs enabling the carrier to launch are 32 new routes to 10 countries from Paris Orly with a total of 48 routes with a further 4 to be announced in due course.
