First Delta Airlines Airbus A330NEO visits Dublin in Team USA Livery

                                                                    US carrier Delta Airlines debuted its first Airbus A330NEO on New York JFK to Dublin as N411DX Airbus A330-941 msn 1991 operated DAL44 arriving 0952 local departing as DAL45 1144 local in special TEAM USA Livery. The Team USA inspired Airbus A330-900 celebrates Delta’s new eight-year partnership with Team USA, which runs through the Beijing Winter Games 2022, LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Delta’s Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Gil West said "The next-generation engine technology from Rolls-Royce which powers the A330neo provides compelling operating economics, superior fuel performance and the range and coverage for our transoceanic needs going forward." (Delta Press Release 16Nov18). The aircraft was delivered Toulouse to Tokyo Narita on 29th May 2021 in a three class configuration (29 Business Class , 28 Premium Economy , 224 Economy) powered by Rolls Royce RR Trent 7000-72

EI-GUM, EI-GUP ATR72-600F Delivered to FedEx for operation by ASL Airlines Ireland

                                                                  On Thursday 6th January FedEx took delivery of two new ATR72-600F aircraft registered EI-GUM msn 1717, EI-GUP msn 1700 both aircraft where delivered Toulouse to Shannon for for post delivery modifications, for operation by ASL Airlines Ireland, a FedEx ATR operator since 2000. EI-GUM positioned Shannon (SNN) to Paris CDG (CDG) as ABR76 on 13th January entering service next day as ABR6ML from Paris CDG (CDG) to Lyon (LYS) according to Flightradar24 data. EI-GUP entered service on 10th January based in Shannon (SNN) operating the Paris CDG (CDG) route according to Flightradar24 data. FedEx Express made a firm purchase of 30 ATR 72-600F aircraft with options to purchase an additional 20 aircraft. The deliveries will be about six aircraft per year over a five-year period. EI-EMP Boeing 737-8AS Ryanair DAC Transferred to Ryanair UK as G-RUKE

                                                                   The Ryanair Group has completed an inter-group transfer of EI-EMP Boeing 737-8AS msn 40285 from Ryanair DAC to Ryanair UK as G-RUKE on 11th January at London Stansted. EI-EMP was delivered to Ryanair DAC on 30th June 2010.  The aircraft operated its last flight for Ryanair DAC on 8th January as RYR2129 Tampere (TMP) to London Stansted (STN). Ryanair UK is a low-cost airline based at Stansted airport it commenced operations in March 2019 operating a fleet of eight Boeing 737-800 aircraft. Emirates celebrates 10 years of operation of Dublin-Dubai route

                                                                                Emirates Airlines celebrated its 10th anniversary in Ireland on Sunday 9th January 2022 with the flight UAE161/2 operated by A6-EGV Boeing 777-31H(ER) msn 38990. Dublin became Emirates 29th European route and its 119th globally and was one of 15 new passenger routes launched in 2012, which included Adelaide, Phuket, Ho Chi Minh, Rio, Harare and Barcelona .  On the 9th January 2012 the first service was operated by A6-EAG Airbus A330-200 msn 396 with the carrier having consistently having load factors in excess of 90% from the first day of operation, thus the Dublin route has exceeded all expectations as an A330-200 would serve the route for 2 to 3 years before being upgraded to an Boeing 777-300ER. LOT Polish Airlines increases Dublin frequency to daily for Summer 2022

                                                                 LOT Polish Airlines is increasing frequency on Warsaw Chopin to Dublin route to a daily service for Summer 2022 commencing 27 March using a mix of Boeing 737-800 and 737 MAX 8 aircraft.  The carrier currently operates four times weekly on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sundays using Embraer 190 aircraft. To meet Christmas peak demand the carrier deployed Boeing 737-800/737 MAX 8 aircraft on selected dates according to Dublin Movements blog SP-LVD Boeing 737 MAX 8 3rd January, SP-LWG Boeing 737-800 2nd January, SP-LVA Boeing 737 MAX 8 27th December, SP-LVC Boeing 737 MAX 8 19th December.  LOT Polish began Warsaw to Dublin route on 23 August 2020 after a 13 year absence. First Smartwings Boeing 737 MAX visits Dublin Airport

                                                                   Smartwings first Boeing 737 MAX visited Dublin Airport on 20-22 December operating a transit flight. The aircraft OK-SWD Boeing 737-8 msn 43557 operated non stop from Punta Cana (PUJ) in the Dominican Republic to Dublin on 20 December as '3Z7603' arriving 2016 local after an 8 hour 32 minute flight according to Flightradar24. The aircraft departed Dublin on 22nd December to Kosice (KSC) as 'QS4307' at 1420 local. On 19 December the aircraft routed Katowice (KTW) to Ponta Delgada (PDL) to Punta Cana (PUJ) in the Dominican Republic for overnight.  Smartwings, a.s. (formerly Travel Service, a.s.)is a low-cost leisure Czech airline. The carrier is largest  airline in the Czech Republic and it operates scheduled and chartered flights, mainly to leisure destinations, and also wet and dry leases its aircraft to other airlines. SP-RZI, SP-RZK Boeing 737-8200 Delivered to Buzz

                                                                   The Ryanair Group first Boeing 737 MAX deliveries of 2022 commenced on Wednesday 5th January with SP-RZI Boeing 737-8200 msn 62305, SP-RZI Boeing 737-8200 msn 62304 Buzz in full Ryanair colour scheme, increasing the group fleet to 43 aircraft. SP-RZI Boeing 737-8200 msn 62305 delivered Boeing Field to Dublin as 'RYS82I' arriving 1824 local. SP-RZK Boeing 737-8200 msn 62305 delivered Boeing Field to Dublin as 'RYS82K' arriving 1840 local. The Ryanair Group Buzz subsidiary Boeing 737 MAX fleet is currently spilt betweenn Krakow and Warsaw Modlin bases. Edelweiss connects Cork to Zurich for Summer 2022

                                                                  Edelweiss a Swiss leisure airline, charter airline and the sister company of Swiss International Air Lines is to connect Cork to Zurich twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays using Airbus A320-200 aircraft in Summer 2022 effective from 15th April as part of a significantly expanded schedule. The carrier will operate 75 holiday destinations in 32 countries worldwide in its 2022 summer flight schedule. This is 13 destinations more than this summer, increasing the number of short haul flights has been increased by 16% compared to summer 2021 and inceasing long-haul programme by 185%. The carrier will resume service to North American destinations Tampa Bay (Florida), Denver, Las Vegas, Calgary and Vancouver . In Europe Bergen in Norway, Bilbao in Spain and Cork in Ireland added to the route network. Edelweiss operates a fleet of 10 Airbus A320-200s and 4 Airbus A340-300 aircraft. Turkish Airlines launches new Antalya to Dublin route for Summer 2022

                                                                   Turkish Airlines is to launch a new Dublin to Antalya route for Summer 2022 operating three times weekly on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from 1st April to 28th October using  two class Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The route was planned for launch in Summer 2020 and subsequently for Summer 2021 but delayed to the Covid-19 global pandemic. Turkish Airlines will also operate routes from Antalya to Edinburgh, Manchester and London. Antalya is the fifth-most populous city in Turkey and the capital of Antalya Province on Anatolia's southwest coast bordered by the Taurus Mountains, Antalya is the largest Turkish city on the Mediterranean coast outside the Aegean region with over one million people in its metropolitan area. Ryanair Group Boeing 737 MAX fleet increases to 41 aircraft at year end 2021

                                                                   The Ryanair Group took delivery of six Boeing 737-8200 MAX aircraft in December with deliverers to subsidiary carriers Buzz (Poland) and Malta Air increasing the group fleet to a total of 41 aircraft at year end 31 December 2021.
