Aer Lingus restarts Dublin to Miami route from 21 October

                                                                  Aer Lingus has announced that it will be restarting its direct service from Dublin Airport (DUB) to Miami (MIA) from 21 October initially operating be twice weekly, before increasing to three times weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from 29 October using Airbus A330-300 aircraft. Aer Lingus Executive Vice-President US Billy Byrne stated "We are delighted to be building back our US connectivity this year and there’s no doubt that travel is back for 2022. We are so happy to be flying to the US again, and this week we are delighted to be continuing to connect families, friends and businesses to Florida."  On 26 November 2021 Aer Lingus re-commenced Dublin to Orlando route as Miami adds a second connection to Florida, an important destination for recreational travel from Ireland. EI-CPH Airbus A321-211 Aer Lingus Ferried Ciudad Real to Lasham

                                                                 German website Skyliner Aviation reported EI-CPH Airbus A321-211 msn 1094 Aer Lingus  named 'St Dervilla / Dearbhile' was ferried Ciudad Real  to Lasham on Friday 11 February prior to P2F conversion.  According to Flightradar24 data the aircraft arrived in Lasham at 1433 local as EIN2537. The aircraft had a historic role in the visit of Pope Francis to Ireland in August 2018 for a two-day visit.
