Emerald Airlines Takes Delivery Of 12th ATR72-600, plans further Belfast City base growth

Emerald Airlines, exclusive operator of Aer Lingus Regional, took delivery of its 12th ATR72-600 on Friday 8th July. The aircraft EI-HDI ATR72-212A(600) msn 1086 routed Exeter to Dublin as 'EAI72M', was formerly registered as 2-BKJS to Chorus Aviation. Emerald Airlines launched 2 new routes this week from George Best Belfast City Airport to Cardiff Airport operating five times weekly and Southampton International Airport operating daily and increased frequencies on Glasgow route, further reinforcing its presence as the largest airline at the city centre airport.
